Slade worked in the corporate world for many years as a manager and oversaw many employees. However, the stress that came with corporate America was deteriorating his health to a point that doctors advised "he needed to change the stress level in his life or he wasn't going to have a life left to enjoy."

 

So...Star and Slade put their best thinking caps on and asked themselves: "What could we do that could, one, lower the stress load; two, keep Slade home more and three, what could we do that would allow him to watch our daughter grow up, rather than pass each other briefly in the hallway?
